1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Scanlr service, available at scanlr.app and published by its individual founder. By creating an account, you accept these terms in full.
2. Description of the service

3. Access to the service
The service is reserved for adults with a valid email address. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Any period started is due in full. Users may cancel at any time from the Settings section of their account, with no fees or notice period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable use
Users agree to use Scanlr only for lawful personal or professional purposes. In particular, it is forbidden to:
- Scan documents belonging to third parties without their consent
- Attempt to bypass the limits of the service
- Use the service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
- Resell access to the service
6. Ownership of data
Users retain ownership of all documents and data they import into Scanlr. Scanlr claims no rights over this data and does not share it with any third party for commercial purposes.
7. Service availability
Scanlr aims to keep the service available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Occasional maintenance may be required.
8. Limitation of liability
Scanlr is provided "as is". The accuracy of OCR-extracted data depends on the quality of the documents provided. Scanlr cannot be held liable for extraction errors or for decisions made on the basis of the information displayed.
